The Daddy Daughter Dance at our school was the other night, and since Brad is a teacher there, he was able to take Elsie! He's taken her to the dance every year since he started teaching, so Elsie has gone every year since she was 1-and she loves it! They had a great time this year, and Elsie came home so happy. She was very excited to tell me that she now knows how to "hula hoo" (hula hoop) and that one of Brad's students gave her some lip gloss. We had a good time getting ready (though, pressed as I was for time, I forgot to get the camera out-dang!) by listening to High School Musical 3 (thanks Aunt JanaKaye!) and giving Elsie a big hand-held mirror...she was very patient! After the dance, and getting on her jammies, and talking a mile-a-minute, she looked up at me with a huge smile and said "and momma, I'm so tired!!"-that's why we love our Elsie.
