Mom & Son Jock Hop

This is Brad, and it's my turn to reciprocate with a post about parent/child outings. Lindsey and Noah went to Red Rock’s “Mom & Jock Sock Hop.” Noah had a great time shooting hoops, hula-hooping and even won the “hot potato” game that had $1 in quarters and bubble gum inside the ball. He came home exhausted but with a big smile on his face. I didn’t spend an hour on his hair, like Lindsey did with Elsie’s hair when we went to our dance, but Noah did not mind. Enjoy the pictures.

Backyard-Before

It's funny how you look at a space and think-"hey, this isn't that big, it won't take that much work/time/money/etc. to landscape..." Ha. Joke was on us! However, I'm SO glad we did it, and now it's done and we can enjoy it, instead of not using our backyard at all! Huge thanks to Mike Seegmiller, Grandpa's Ras and Smith, and Uncle Dan (Lawlor) for all your help! It turned out awesome (see below)!

Backyard-After!!

It's been just over 2 weeks since putting in our grass and we LOVE it!! Now it's real grass, instead of just a ton of weeds looking like grass! Elsie, Adam, and I enjoyed a morning in our kiddie pool and running in the grass-a very nice, layed back morning-it was great!
