Adam had never been to the zoo before, and since Brad and Noah had Friday off for Rodeo Days, we thought we would go-we had so much fun, and Adam loved it! I love the Tucson Zoo, because it's not very big and you can get through the whole thing in a couple of hours. We got to feed the Giraffe, pet snakes, and see all of the new things that have been added to the zoo in the last 2 years. After the zoo, we went to a nearby park to eat lunch and play, then we went to visit Grandma Rasmussen at the Institute for an hour or so-the kids were in heaven! They all fell asleep on the way home, then were completely wound up when we got home (thanks Grandma and the missionary couple at the Institute for the ice cream, suckers, and licorice-oy). We then planted our little box garden (wish us luck-we'll post pics later if it's successful!), and crashed! It was a very full and fun day.

One Down...
Noah has finally lost his first tooth! It'd been loose for a couple of weeks, but he just wouldn't wiggle it. I got one good wiggle in the other night though, and after the initial shock, Noah was able to pull it out on his own-you'd think as a boy, he would have been more gung-ho about getting that thing out, but apparantly he thought we were asking him to cut off his arm, not pull out a tooth! The Tooth Fairy came, though Noah wasn't sure she would if we didn't all go to bed as soon as possible-he kept asking me if I was very, very tired :) Way to go Noah!

Thomas the Tank Engine's Newest Model
He loves watching the show and got very excited when he found this Thomas belt (I added the hat). It's very sweet when he gets SO excited about playing with all of Noah's tracks and trains-he calls it "shoo shoo" (choo choo), and somehow, having this in common with Noah, all of a sudden Adam looks A LOT more like him!

Happy Birthday Elsie!!
Happy Happy Birthday, Elsie dear! Today is Elsie's 4th birthday! We celebrated by having a birthday breakfast for her (Brad has class tonight) where she enjoyed a candle in a cinnamon roll, and opening her presents from the family. High School Musical 2 Barbies and movie were among the faves. We love Elsie so much, and though sometimes she acts like she's turning 16 instead of 4, we don't know where we would be without her! Here are a few pics of Elsie's year-enjoy!

Isn't it about...time?
I've decided to try out this whole blogging thing-we'll see how long it lasts! Brad thought I would have started this a while ago, and I decided it was time I figured out the whole "internet" thing (I do also have a facebook profile now-look out world!). Anyway, hopefully I can keep up with this, as I've heard it's a great way to journal (which I'm really, really bad at) and everyone can see how cute my kids are!
